Arthur "Smooth" Satterfield December 8, 1959 - March 16, 2021

Mr. Arthur Satterfield, age 61 of Person County, departed this life Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Mountain Valley Hospice in Yadkinville, NC. He is preceded in death by his wife, DeLisa Satterfield ; and his parents, William and Frances Satterfield.

He is survived by his daughter, Keisha Satterfield of Roxboro; step-daughter, JeNarry Rhem of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren: Cameron Harris of Roxboro and Noah and Jacob Ruiz, both of Winston-Salem; one sister, Helen Burton (Ray) of Roxboro; one brother, Alfred Satterfield of Chapel Hill, NC; one aunt, Mary Whitlock of Virginia; honorary brothers: Dean Chandler and Eric, both of Roxboro, Larry Chandler of Winston-Salem, Jasper Cunningham of Virginia and others; special friend, Regina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 3:00pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Gordon Hamlett, Minister at Cornerstone Community Church in Roxboro, providing the eulogy. The family will also receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00pm to 3:00pm during a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Attendance at the service is limited to fifty individuals and guests are pre-determined by the family.
