Mr. Michael Lee Pass, age 62, of Roxboro, departed this life Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Durham, NC. He was born in New Rochelle, NY December 6, 1959 to the late Roosevelt Newman and Jannie Pass Tobias, was a 1978 graduate of Person Sr. High School. a veteran of the U.S. Army  and a member of Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Willie and Mable Torain Pass.

He is survived by one brother, James Pass of the home; one aunt, Margie Chandler of Roxboro; two uncles: Walter Pass (Hilda) of Roxboro and Gene Pass of the home; one great-aunt, Doreatha Paylor of Graham, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service with military honors will be held Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Minister Sandra McGhee, Assistant Pastor at Rose Hill A.M.E. Zion Church in Moncure, NC, officiating and providing the eulogy.

The family will receive visitors at 1893 Allensville Road, Roxboro, NC 27574.
