Debbie Moss Poole January 28, 1960 - September 27, 2024.

  Mrs. Debbie Moss Poole, age sixty-four, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Friday, September 27, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born in Person County January 28, 1960 to the late Johnny and Alberta King Moss and attended Prospect Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings: Dewey Smith and Janette Jay. She leaves to cherish precious memories, children: Crystal Thomas (Damon) of Jacksonville, Florida, Chasity Moss of Charlotte, North Carolina, Antonio Moss (Felicia) of Salisbury, North Carolina, DeCarlos Moss (Tyrosen), Shang Moss, Creighton Moss and Christian Moss, all of Roxboro, North Carolina and Chalilah Williams of Durham, North Carolina; seventeen grandchildren; brother-in-law, James Jay, also of Roxboro; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 4, 2024 at 1:00pm at Prospect Hill Baptist Church, 301 Bethel Hill School Road, Roxboro, North Carolina, with the Reverend Sylvester Clay, Pastor, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home from 1:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present during the last hour from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Her body will lie in state Friday at the church from 12:00pm to 1:00pm, one hour prior to the service.
