Nathaniel Rogers October 7, 1960 - January 15, 2026

Mr. Nathaniel Rogers, age sixty-five, departed his earthly life and entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Person Memorial Hospital. He was born in Person County October 7, 1960, previously attended Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He is preceded in death by his father, Churchhill Fuller; grandparents: “Buster” Rogers, Sr. and Bretie Rogers; and an uncle, Howard “Sonny” Rogers, Jr.. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his mother, Jean Rogers Fuller of Roxboro, North Carolina; brothers: Greg Carver and D.J. “Red,” both of Roxboro; an aunt, Jean F. Thompson (Milton) of Roxboro; cousins: Leon Rogers, Tommy “Smokey” Rogers (Vanessa), Robert “Bob” Rogers and Daisey Ragland (Donnell), all of Roxboro; close friend, “Bailey” of Roxboro; and a host of other additional relatives and friends. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, January 23, 2026 at 1:00pm at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1851 Cedar Grove Church Road, Roxboro, North Carolina 27574, with the Reverend Dwight L. Wilkerson, Pastor at Dan River Bethel Baptist Church, officiating and providing the eulogy. Burial with military honors will follow.

A public viewing will be Thursday at Cunningham & Associates from 1:00pm to 5:00pm when his body will lie in state.
