I first remember Jerry (I called him Bryant)when I was in middle school just a fun guy. Then I had classes with him in high school and fell in love with him. He was such a good friend and always had a funny story to tell. I kept in touch with him through my cousin so I did get to see him about once or twice a year. He is missed very much.

I agree!! I got to see alot of him when his kids were in preschool because at the time I was in college and worked there part time. He always had a smile on his face & was always very sweet. He absolutely LOVED and ADORED his children, Austin & Victoria. RIP Jerry- We will see you again one day.

I got to know Jerry better after high school.

He was very proud of Austin and Victoria his two children.

You could tell he enjoyed fatherhood.

Jerry was a good friend of mine at Southern. We ate lunch together one year. I remember it was always Him, Bryan Clayton, Carlton Day and Me at the same table. He used to always call me Layme Wittle and give me a nipple twister. I would return with Rerry Jimmer! He was always cracking jokes and had a great sense of humor.
I also recall his rat tail hairdo he had in the back. It was so long it curled up. Once in FFA he failed to learn the FFA Creed so Mr. Martin let all the guys hold him down in wood shop and trimmed his tail or Curly Q as Martin called it. Jerry was a little upset cause he had grown it all summer long. He also like many of us wore a LOUD Hawaiian Jams shirt to school.
It was good to run into him occasionaly in Wal Mart and we reconnected at the 10 year reunion. I have fond memories of him and he will be missed by me.

Jerry was a fantastic man! We dated briefly one summer and spent a beach vacation with our children. We had such a great time. Our older boys became great friends too. In school, I always thought Melinda was a lucky gal because she had landed the sweetest and most fun loving guy around. They had 2 great kids and I will always have the fondest memories of Jerry and his son Austin.
