
Cassie Ann Thomas Howe 1953 ~ 2007 ROY - Cassie Ann Thomas Howe, 53, passed away peacefully in her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer Friday, March 23, 2007, with her loving family by her side. She was born March 26, 1953 in Clearfield, Utah to CasLee and LaReta VanNoy Thomas. She was raised in Roy and graduated from Roy High School. On September 14, 1973, Cassie married Richard L. Howe in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home in Roy, Utah. She was a member of the U.S.B.A. and bowled in several Women's Leagues. She loved horses and rode in the Boots and Saddles Riding Club. Cassie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Her favorite was the Young Women's Organization. She was a day care provider in her home for 25 years and still calls all of the children her own. She was the heart and soul of Cassie's Crusaders for the Relay for Life Cancer Walk. She had many passions in her life especially genealogy, crocheting, and her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Richard; one son, JC Howe; three daughters, Angie (Kiel) Bodily, Crystal Howe, and April (Jeffery) Hart, all of Roy; eight grandchildren, Chandler, Hudson, Kennedy, and Sienna Bodily, Chenielle Howe, and Aspyn, Aidan, and Jerzee Hart; a brother, Danny D. Thomas, Roy; and two sisters, LouDene Keyes, Hooper, and Vernessa Hansen, West Weber. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Rob Thomas. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 28th at Lindquist's Roy Chapel, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lind-quist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
