We were next-door neighbors for several years (50's) on Lloyd Ave, by the Susie-Q.  I remember chasing Cathy on her bicycle up to the Shrine Church parking lot and finally caught her to give her a kiss (~1959).  Never will forget her smile!   What a special person.  We lost Cathy way too early!  TR

We all loved Cathy, with a C, I remember riding down Woodward and laughing... I remember cheerleading camp, and all the games. Still hurts my heart to think of her.

Of course, my thought is she is in a better place now!  TR

We got together a few times as young married couples, before Sam and I moved away.  Those were happy times.  RIP.

I remember going ice skating with Cathy when we were in grade school. She was such a sweet person. Her Dad was our Twin Pines milkman! My niece is best friends with her sister Bernie. Keep up with Bernie on FB.She left this world too soon.

With being next door neighbors for so long (in the 50's), I learned that Cathy's dad owned five Twin-Pines milk routes and worked one of them (or that is what I was told).  I think we found out which one with CC's comment.  I still tell people how many were in the Tamm family (13-16 kids) and how "Catholic" they were.  I never saw Mrs. Tamm when she was not  pregnant (ha ha!).    I also always tell folks that when we went to the movies with them, or them with us,  the Tamm kids were always dressed as well as the Wheatons, or better!  They were always great neighbors to the Wheatons and the neighborhood!  God bless Cathy and all the Tamms.   TR

Cathy was one of my first "crushes" when I was in 4th grade.  I used to ride my bike after dinner in front of her house, hoping I'd see her, until the street lights went on, and I had to ride home.  I don't remember if she ever knew I was smitten by her.  But she was always a sweetie.  Seems like she dated Tom O'Brian ('63) in H.S. for awhile, as I recall.  The Tamm's were a great family, for sure.

Tom, I may have seen you in front of the Tamm's house (as I lived next door).  And, at about dark, I had to be close to home when the street lights came on.  Several of us would sit on our bikes under the street light (on Elmhurst and Lloyd) and talk until we heard  "come home, it's dark"! (about 1957).  I guess I will never forget those days!  TR
