Hmm, how to fit the past 20 years into a couple of short paragraphs...?!
Well, not feeling that going to college was my thing (would love to do that over!!), I attended a 9-month secretarial school and then worked as a secretary for various law firms over the years. That path led me to my current job as a paralegal for a real estate development company, a job I love, and I couldn't be happier with the company.
I met my husband about 15 years ago, and we've been married now for 5 years. We just had our first baby in February 2008 - a boy - and we're totally in love with the little guy! We had trouble conceiving after we got married, and even tried infertility treatment for a couple of years with no luck. Six months or so after giving up on the whole idea of being parents, I got pregnant! So, needless to say, we're feeling pretty lucky to have him in our lives!
I've done some vacationing/traveling over the years with my husband, which has been a lot of fun. Nothing particularly far flung or exotic, but fun nonetheless. We aren't going anywhere this year because of our new addition, but I'm already looking into places to go next year!
