AGE: 39 LEONARDO
Kenneth W. Crocker Jr., 39, of Leonardo, passed away Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Ken graduated from Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School in 1989, where he was a scholar-athlete. He was a 1993 graduate of Lehigh University. He enjoyed his years working in the mortgage field. He was a parishioner of St. George's-by-the-River Episcopal Church in Rumson, where he had served as an acolyte. Ken was a sports lover; he enjoyed soccer, golf, and football. He was an avid Giants and Yankees fan. Even after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis eight years ago, Ken continued to love life; he especially valued the funds he was able to raise for MS through the "Team Special K".
Ken deeply loved his family and his friends. He was predeceased by an infant brother; his maternal grandparents, Harold and Edna Radford; and his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Margaret Crocker. He is survived by his wife, Kim; his daughter, Devyn Wiley of Arizona; his mother, Patricia "Pat" Radford-Crocker of Middletown; his father, Kenneth Crocker Sr. of Pompano Beach, Fla.; his sisters, Colleen Fasy of Springfield, Pa., and Kristine Rymar of Sinking Springs, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at St. George's-by-the-River, 7 Lincoln Ave., Rumson. Interment is private. The family requests that memorial donations be made in Ken's name to The National MS Society NJ Metro Chapter's "Team Special K", 246 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ 07755.
