What is up Ladies and Gentlemen, YoYo is in the house!!!! LOL I so miss you guys, don't get me wrong I Love the life God has given me with husband and kids, but I so miss the fun times at RCHS!!!! Can't wait to see you all again for the reunion.

Hi Y'all,
I'm so excited that after less than one month there are now 71 of us registered on the site. It's been fun putting this together and thanks to everyone who's sent me a kind comment. Just a reminder that you can click on the "Missing Classmates" to the left, and it will show everyone who has not joined the website. If anyone has email addresses for any of these people, just click on their name and invite them to be a part. Hopefully this can help get everyone contacted as reunion planning gets underway. I am enjoying catching up with everyone and especially seeing the photos of your beautiful families!

Everyone please remember to thank Susan for setting up our webpage. Hopefully everyone is enjoying it! If you see any classmates please let them know about the webpage. I know I have chased several of you down already LOL but it takes a while to get in touch with everyone!!

Everyone is invited to come and work on the plans for the reunion. Looking at scheduling a day later this month. I'll send out a date and time SOON. Thanks to everyone who has sent suggestions, it is truly appreciated! I think it's going to be a great reunion!!

Holy Cow -- Today we have reached the 90 people mark -- almost half our class! Yay! Just wanted to say I have really enjoyed reading everyone's info, and especially to the ones who are sharing your high school memories. I have laughed out loud at some of them -- like Janet Rogers playing Taps at the football game, or Jamie Gosser throwing a roll of toilet paper onto the gym floor during a basketball game. (We must've all loved toilet paper -- there are several related stories!) As you have time, I hope everyone else will think about some memories to share. Great stuff!!!

Isn't it funny how when we graduated we thought that we would always be exactly as we were then? Time passes, careers develop, families form and things just get away from us! It is exciting and refreshing to reconnect. I love finding out how everyone is doing now and where they are and how life has ended up for them. I treasure lots of great memories that were so long ago but seem like only yesterday. I absolutely can't wait to see everyone and share old stories! Everyone looks great and has such beautiful families. God has certainly richly blessed the class of 89!

NEW FEATURES!
Lotsa great 80s music on the Playlist. We can hold up to 200 songs, so let me know if your favorite's not on there...Still a couple of bugs to work out. (A few songs are on there twice, some of them are a funky version, and for whatever reason "Yankee Rose" is in Spanish. haha.) But still some great music from back in the day.

Also, PacMan & Donkey Kong are now playing in the 80s Arcade Games room. (I had trouble with the high score feature... See if anybody else can get your name in there!) Have fun!

One More Word About The Playlist -- You don't have to be on the playlist page or even on this website to listen to the music. Just click on the "pop out player" button, and it will open up in another browser window so you can keep listening wherever else you navigate.

There will be a reunion committee meeting at my house on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 5:00 PM. Anyone wanting to help in the preparation of our upcoming 20th reunion needs to attend if at all possible. My house is located on Hwy 379, Hale's Highway. Directions: across from Lakewood Country Club, beside what use to be Jamestowner Houseboats down Hurricane Branch Rd. My house is the first house on the left. 321 Hurricane Branch Rd. We really need a good representation of the class to make this reunion a success. Please come to help!! : )

Hey there Guys and gals. This is so cool. Thanks Susan you did a wonderful job on this web site. cudos to you. I hope that everyone from the class of 1989 is living their dreams. I want to send out a big hug to all my classmates and miss all the good times that we had. I will never forget any of you. It is sad how you do loose contact with people that you saw everyday for so long and even the promises that nothing will change. I can not believe that it will be 20 years since walking across that stage at the NEW RCHS. We will be remembered. Drop me a line anyone that wants to. I'd love to hear from you.

A very special thanks to Christy, Tammy, Jackie, Kristie, Susan, and Stephanie for attending the first reunion committee meeting. It took some time but we made a lot of progress in the planning of our reunion. Many others have expressed interest in helping with the reunion and we gladly accept any and all volunteers!! Hope to see you all at the next meeting (which hasn't been decided by the way). : )

Please note that my address is Russell Springs. Susan will be making that change as soon as she gets a chance. Also make it Voils now. LOL.
