Biography

Margaret Ann Raney, born September 1, 1946 in Paris, Arkansas to Dr. Tom and Virginia Raney passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012. Margaret was retired from Forest Place Apartments where she was Assistant Property Manager. Her smiling face served every resident with joy and happiness for almost twenty years. Her sense of style and fashion was always present.



Her love of the outdoors lead her to the many nature trails around Arkansas. Her most favored among those were Pinnacle Mountain and Mt. Nebo. She loved identifying wild flowers and trees so she could teach others.



She will be fondly remembered by friends and family for her generous spirit and loving way. Margaret was a dedicated Girl Scout Leader, a soccer mom, fashion model, a Grandmother and a proud patriot. She was always helping others and selflessly giving of herself. She took the time to visit those who were ill and those in need of someone to just listen.



Margaret loved everyone as if they were her family. She is survived by; her children Heather & Jon Jacimore of Carroboro, N.C., her grandchildren, her brother T.J. Raney of Scottsdale, Arizona and the love of her life, Richard Anderson.
