In Memory

Todd Crigger

October 10, 2008

It has been 18 years since I lost my precious husband...and you all lost a loyal friend. A lot has happened in those 18 years: I've been remarried for 12 years, Brady has grown up, moved out, and now is expecting his first child in January...and Todd has been here for every bit of it. Even though time has passed and life has gone on, there hasn't been a day go by that he hasn't been a part of my day. I have so many memories of long walks, long talks, sunsets, vacations, plane rides, ice cream sundaes... you get the picture. There were even a few knock-down-drag-out fights thrown in there (I always won!). He was a loving and giving father, husband, and friend whom has been missed so much. He saved me and Brady from the world so many years ago and for that, we will always love and cherish him. And, now that we are expecting our first grandchild, I know he'll be here for that as well. I would like to thank you all for remembering him and keeping his memory alive in your class. It means the world to me and to Brady. God Bless you all!

25 years is a long time. And, then again, it has flown by.  That's how long it's been since I said goodbye to my best friend.  Just a quick update on how we are doing.  I'm still married to Rodney Greer and we will soon celebrate 19 yrs of marriage.  Brady is 28 yrs old now and doing well.  He has two beautiful little girls...Brylie who is 6 yrs old and Staleigh who will be 4 in August.  They are both my loves and my life and we celebrate them as often as possible.  Life has continued on but it's still not the same and never will be.  Todd's memory is one that is engraved into my soul and will be until I see him again.
