James Pruett

James Alan Pruett, 42, of Russellville died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in Marietta, Okla.
The son of James Pruett and Joanne Bowen, he was born Dec. 31, 1963, in Memphis, Tenn.

He married Shelly Pruett on June 30, 2003, in Russellville. He served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger in the Special Forces. He worked for Maverick Transportation as a professional driver.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly Pruett of Russellville; four daughters, Nicki Pruett and Brandi Pruett, both of Russellville, Holly Wilson of Arkadelphia, and Robin Wilson of Houston, Texas; three sons, James Patrick Pruett and Jeff Wilson and wife Becky, all of Russellville, and Jordan Wilson of Houston; seven grandchildren, Zachary, McKenzie, Seth, Amberly, Connor, Keaton and Ryan; his father, James Pruett and wife Nita of Canyon Lake, Texas; his mother, Joanne Bowen and husband Emmitt of Clinton; a grandmother, Mildred Burnett of Russellville; three sisters, Robin Strackbein of Greenbrier, Shirl Goodwin and husband Steve of Dardanelle, and Donna Springer of Ocean Springs, Miss.; four brothers, Chris Bowen and wife Belinda of Russellville, Tim Bowen of Van Buren, Quentin Bowen and wife Cora of Russellville, and Eddy Trim and wife Karen of Granite City, Ill.
