I'm really excited to be here on this lovely website Beth provided for us. Let's see, what have i been doing since graduation? Well, the day after graduation, we had my graduation party...ok,, just kidding. WEll, you can tell by the age of my oldest, or is it eldest?... I got married and started the family. 21 years later, i'm happy to say I'm married to the same guy and have 4 daughters. Notice I didnt' say "lovely" or "wonderful".... that's because at this writing they're grating on my nerves, and I can't wait for them to get the hell out... especially the 20 and 18 year olds.
Career-wise, I never settled into anything. Worked at Citibank for a few years, did some babysitting and a few odd things in between. My favorite being working at a haunted house for a few Octobers. Right now, I'm a lunch lady... now THAT'S scary!
One thing I am proud of is back in 1996, I became an "official" Certified Irish Dance Teacher. I'm now working with a dance school and am VERY PROUD to say we have a few teams going to the World Championships in April 2009. I'm also proud to say all 4 of my "girls" will be participating.
OK, that's more bragging than I can stomach.
School Story
Let's see, my school story... don't really have one. I sort of remember floating in and out of different cliques.... OH, COME ON NOW! OF COURSE THERE WERE CLIQUES!!!! One week I'd be preppy ( I even had the Preppy Handbook). The next I was "ultra-cool" HA! like that ever happened.
One thing you could always count on was me being at the smoking tree. I'm happy to say, I'm 13 years clean....of that habit anyway, I still freebase... JUST KIDDING!! Jeez, lighten up!
Towards the end of junior year, I started dating a guy named Ronnie. Yeah, he's not the one i married. But we did go out for 3 1/2 years and he was a very nice guy.....'nuff said.
Apparently I never learned how to spell correctly, which you have probably already noticed. The truth is, I can spell, I just choose not to. PLus I'm usually short on time and have to rush through anything I'm typing.
In my four years at Resurrection, i only bonded with a couple of you, and I'm glad I still have regular contact with you. As for the rest of my classmates, I'm looking forward to playing catch up!
Cate, Grace and I jiggin' our way into the Guinness Book of World Records. Emily was dancing too, she's just a bit down the line. This may be my biggest accomplishment!
