BAKER . A 37-year-old Folsom man died in an off-road vehicle crash near
Baker Saturday morning.

Jeffrey Wayne Ebner was riding a 2008 Polaris sand rail eastbound on a steep
hill in the Dumont Sand Dunes Recreational Area., when the vehicle
overturned for an unknown reason, according to reports from the San
Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Division and the California Highway
Patrol.

Ebner was partially ejected from the vehicle as it rolled and died at the
scene. His body was found at about 7 a.m. Saturday, according to the CHP
report.
