In Memory

Lori Traversi (Gleason)

Lori Michelle Traversi Hamilton Gleason
April 10, 1957 - April 14, 2023
Sacramento, California

Lori Traversi was lost too soon to parents, Richard and Janice Traversi, brothers, David (Kim) and Steven (Dana), son, Will Gleason, Aunts, Audrey (Jack) Hubbard, Nancy (Mike) Whaley, and Sharon (Rick) Jamieson, Uncle Dick (Roberta) and their families, as well as nieces and nephews, Steven and Olivia, Zack and Sophie, and many friends.

Lori lived a life full of both excitement and hardships, and was able to make her own name while still leaning on family and friends who were there for her no matter what. She left Sacramento for NYC at the age of 20, and loved the city the moment she arrived. She worked as a photography model and traveled to Italy, France, England, and other European countries for work.

Lori's most prominent quality was her fierce compassion. She was very protective of her younger brothers and her parents as she grew up, and carried that love for her family members throughout her life. She was a rebel, a lover, and a listener and she excelled at each of them with dignity and grace. She didn't judge people and was accepting of all. She told stories of her adventures, learned more about life than most could imagine, loved with abandon, and formed lasting relationships that will continue to impact those she knew for the rest of their days.
