Does anyone have pictures of our band performances? Practices? Shenanigans? Our Hall of Fame halftime show? Remember our buses were parked next to Howard Cosell's trailer and we annoyed him?  Did we really play on the Capitol steps in DC?  What were we doing in New York?  Or in Philly? Virginia?  I have very few pictures and a dimming memory.  Please help fill-in the gaps!

I remember pulling up in front of the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia and we were late and had only a few minutes before our scheduled performance.  So, much to the surprise of the MANY tourists all around our buses, we all just started changing clothes, into our uniforms.  It was all about the performance!

This is the 49er pre-game show in September '78.  Can you name the song we were playing?  (Note the dance by Keith and Kevin Goings)

Here we are on the steps of the Capitol, Washington DC, August 1979.  I remember a large crowd of Congressman and Senators that came out to watch us perform.  I also remember that it was 98 degrees and 98 percent humidity that day!

OMG!  Great pics!  Thank you so much for posting!  And thank goodness our mom's help make those 'summer' uniforms- that east coast humidity was brutal! 

I have a bunch of old band pics somewhere. As far as remembering what we did? I probably have more gaps to fill in than you do    But, if they are different gaps we might be good!

 Michael! I would love to see your band pics! If you find them, but don't feel like scanning them, I'll get them from you the next time I'm in Sac and post for you!

It seems to be a file naming issue on my laptop, that over-rode the 49ers picture.  I have tried to edit it, and to add it to this reply, but the image button just isn't working :-(

Any suggestions???
