Janice (Gomes) Kimmel on the in memory page for 2025.   She died on February 27, 2025 and obituary was posted on East Lawn Morturary in Sacramento, California and in the Sacramento Bee between March 19th to March 30th 2025.  Her husband is Jack Kimmel and he is in the class of 1960.  Janice went thru school with me from the 3rd grade at Crocker Elementary School until she graduated early with the class of 1960.  She was always with the class of 1961 until also just 6 months before graduating early with Jack's class!   Many of the classmates from 1961 know her well.  She was also my very best girlfriend all the way thru school.  I only had 2 very close friends and I have lost both of them within less than one year.  Marcia (Conner) Russell on September 12, 2024 and then Janice (Gomes) Kimmel on February 27, 2025. Double Whammy all in the month of Aprill 2025!  A great loss for me!
