I'm so saddened to hear of Charlie's passing. He and I had just recently become Facebook friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Holmes family. We sure will miss seeing Charlie at the 50th reunion.

Rest in Peace my friend.🙏❤️

I was so surprised and saddened to see this the other day I couldn't respond.  Charlie & I were in school together from elementary.  He was always a sweet fun guy.  I enjoyed the posts Tami has posted over the last year about his singing.  So sad right before the reunion.  He will be remember!

I met Charlie in elementary school. I really got to know him at Joaquin Miller. We had wood shop class together. We spent more time laughing than sanding. He was as so fun and a good friend throughout our school years. I treasure those memories.

Charlie was such a great guy and had a heart of gold

And a great sense of humor and a tremendous sense

Of loyalty. You could always count on him!

RIP Charley

Charlie always had an infectious smile and chuckle in his step.  Whenever Sid and I would see him in the community he always made us laugh. He was a very special guy.

I am sad to hear about Charlie's passing.  He was one of the nicest guys I remember in high school with a great sense of humor.  He always made me smile.  The thought of him still does.

It is so sad to hear of Charlie's death.  He is missed.  Sending love and sympathy to his family.  Charlie was such a thoughtful and nice guy!!!  He gave me my first motorcycle ride...sorry, Mom....  I didn't tell you about that! :)   I know he was excited to attend the reunion.  We will be thinking of him.

Warm, funny, and a friend to all was Charlie. We sang together every day for all three years at CKM, and he was someone you could always count on for a cheerful smile and a joke. It was great seeing him ten years ago at our last reunion, and he'd been looking fantastic in recent online posts. I was so looking forward to seeing him again this fall. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, but please take heart that he's singing with the choir of angels right now, and cracking them up every chance he gets. RIP Charlie.
