When I was a little kid Bryan was my best friend. Our fathers knew each other since they were small kids. We would play baseball all the time. Many probably dont know that Bryans dad was a ball player that was probably good enough to be a majors. But world war II cam along and changed that. His dad was actually the back up center fielder on the Army team that would tour the war zones. The first stringer was a guy named Joe D. who played for the yankees and married Marilyn M.
I can remember hanging around at Shelleys house (his cousin) with Bryan just to check her out. A lot of fun.
Bryan was a great caring guy. We are all better for knowing him.
