Phyllis Joyce Evans Samuels was the eighth of twelve children for Indiana Coreena Henry (sister of William Henry) and John Hubert Evans. She was born in Jamaica on October 11, 1934. She spent most of her years in England. She was married to Alan Samuels and they had 4 children. She passed away peacefully on Saturday December 13, 2008.

Phyllis attended our inaugural Walters-Henry Family reunion with her immediate family members.
