One of the smartest guys I've ever met... We were good pals in High School, until he graduated in the January class ahead of me... We wound up both in the Military, both stationed on the East coast at the same time 1964 - 1965 (saw The Beach Boys in concert in D.C. together) A genuinely nice and generous friend whose I.Q. was off the charts... One of my favorite memories is riding around with him in a classic MG-TD sports car (which we often did) in the Sierra foot hills, in the days before I had a driver's license... RIP my amigo...
