It's hard to realize that Kathy (as we knew her in junior high and high school) died at such a young age. Kathy was a brilliant person and when you got to know her, she had a great sense of humor. I remember her in my 9th grade Algebra class at Kit Carson -- wow, was she smart! I was horrible at Algebra and she "got it" without even being taught! She tried to teach it to me, but I was hopeless! We shared some good laughs over that and we remained friends until we graduated from Sac High. Rest in Peace Kathy.
