Linda was a sweet and thoughtful person. Our friendship began in 6th grade and continued through high school. She married Paul Hardesty who predeceased her. She worked as an accounting supervisor for SMUD.
Diabetes made her life difficult, but she always kept her sense of humor. Linda died in May, 2002. She leaves a daughter Tammi, grandson Brandon and many friends who will always remember our time together.
Not long after high school I saw Linda in her dad's hardware store. She had that accepting smile with an inner giggle (right Dianne Gier?). She left me with a good feeling. What a sweetheart.
