I was sorry to hear that Bob had recently passed away.  But when I saw the pictures of the class reunion from 3 years ago, I suspected that he was ill and perhaps on chemotherapy as he looked gaunt and tired. His passing was sad becasue Bob was a good friend. During our years at McClatchy we had many great conversations about every conceivable subject. As Bob got older he developed an interest in Doo Wop music.  If he were still alive today it would be nice to have another great talk with him about his love for pop music from the 1950s. He will be missed.

Bobby Dean went to Sierra as I did. One day in P.E. he accidentally knocked me down. It was terribly embarrassing, but aside from that, I was fine. I remember him as a good student who contributed to class discussions. One day he said he shared with the class that he caught a fish that was "dilapidated" for which the teacher supplied a better synonym.
