Gerald Lee "Jerry" Harris

Age at Death: 38 years

I wanted to get in touch and let you know that my cousin Jerry (Gerald Lee) Harris died in an automobile accident in 1984 at the age of 38. He served in the military (1st Infantry(Big Red One) in Vietnam approx between 1966-67 and saw heavy combat action while there.

This Thanksgiving brought back memories of visiting Sacramento for the holiday and attending the annual Turkey Day Game at old Hughes Stadium with him (three years older than me).He only attended his senior year so probably didn't know that many people there. 

I know he was good friends with Phil Abben but Phil also seems to be unaccounted for. I just wanted to see that Jerry got remembered on this site.
