Tom Bodenhamer passed away suddenly on February 19, 2003. He was survived by his twin brother John Bodenhamer.

Tom graduated from McClatchy in 1963 and later attended UCLA. After college work took him to San Francisco, Portland, Los Angeles, and Stockton. He lived in Pine Grove for his last 12 years, located 12 miles east of Jackson.

Tom enjoyed life, friends and golf and the occasional trip to Reno with close friends. His life was rich with good friends he made along the way. Many of those lifelong friends were with people scattered across the planet. They tell the story of the depth in which he lived his life.
