Died: June 5,1990

Age at Death: 72 years

William Peron was survived by his Wife-Corrine (Deceased), Daughter-Kathie, Son-Ken (deceased), and Son-Tom.

Mr. Peron was the Music Department Chair at CKM for most of his tenure there. He started teaching at CKM in 1950 & retired from CKM in 1975 when he started teaching music in the elementary schools. He taught Orchestra, Band, Stage Band, Music History & Music Theory. He was the Principal trumpet player in the Sacramento Symphony and played in Dance Bands most every weekend. He also taught privately and produced many fine trumpet players who have played worldwide. He was a very talented man and has been & will be missed by many.

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Peron's passing--he was a great guy, loved sharing his passion for music.  My sincere condolences to his family.  Kathie was one of our classmates, right?

William Yeager

Mr. Peron  was a great person and great music teacher. I was in Orchestra for three years, played French Horn and truly learned to appreciate music through his encouragement and teaching.

Pam Farmer (Lilly)

I remember working with him while on the drill team, it was a group effort. He was a fantastic instructor and there are many wonderful memories of parades and half-time shows. He will be missed. My condolences to his family.
