The Dr. Brian D. Kubczak Memorial Scholarship was established in 2000 by Brian's family and friends. A lifelong resident of Saginaw Township, he graduated in 1991 from Heritage High School. He attended Central Michigan University for three years majoring in chemistry. He later transferred to the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois, earning a Bachelor of Science degree as well as a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude, ranking third in his class. In August of 1998 he opened his practice, Saginaw Chiropractic and Wellness Center.
In his short time here on earth, Brian touched the lives of so many. His patients held him in high regard for his caring nature, his patience, and his true commitment to helping others. He also made a lasting impact on his friends and was looked up to by many as someone who would always be there with a smile and an open mind. Of all his accomplishments and credits, the one thing he valued the most was the love of his wife Shelly, together with his parents William and Constance, his brother Christopher and his sister Betsy. They hope to continue Brian's legacy by furthering a student's education, to bring the recipient one step closer to his or her dreams.
