KOENIG (BOWDEN), SALLY ANN Beloved wife and mother, Sally passed away at home surrounded in love on July 6, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, David, and her two daughters Amanda (Wayzata, MN) and Janna (Wayzata, MN). Daughter of the late Richard and Ellen Bowden, her family in Michigan includes her dear sister Cheryl Korth (John) and brothers, Edward (Florence), Harold, Richard (Lois) and Kurt (Betty Jo) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Sally grew up in Saginaw, MI and moved to Minneapolis in 1964 where she met the love of her life, David. They raised two wonderful daughters in Cottagewood, MN. She loved being out on the water on Lake Minnetonka, Lake Huron and on the beach in Naples, Florida. She was an avid traveler and reader, an appreciator of Asian art and design, fine food and delighted in a good shopping bargain. She loved her church, its' truths and teachings and all of the good friends she met through her faith. Her smile lit up the room and people were attracted to her gentle soul and determined spirit; she was always willing to help a family member or friend. Her love lives on with her family and many wonderful friends. Her family will hold a celebration of her life on July 23rd at Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach, MN.
