per her obit: Cheryl graduated from U of M School of Nursing in 1968. She married John Foltz and worked for the Wayne County Health Dept. from 1970-73. the couple worked at the El Vergel Agricultural school, Angol Chili as missionaries of the United Methodist Church. They resided in College stationm Texas from 1974-77 . They moved to Gainsville, fl when John started teaching at U of Fl. in 1977.Cheryl devoted herself to the joys of motherhood and serving scouting, PTA and the United Methodist women. In 1992 she became the school nursewith school board of Alachua county retiring in 2011 due to the onset of Parkinson's . she will always be rememberedas a generous and caring soul. She passed away Feb. 19, 2018 just 2 days before her 72nd birthday.
Cheryl is survived by her husband John Foltz, daughter Jennifer Wiltz (Andrew), son John Foltz and grandson Alexander Wiltz, sister Judy Brown (Russell),and sister Susan Cox (Clark)
