KAREN'S OBITUARY

 Karen Louise Martin

During the 1990’s Karen worked as a Case Manager, Home Health Nurse, and as Pharmaceutical Nurse Consultant specializing in wounds. Karen realized one of her dreams by starting her own business in 2000. Karen opened the very first Visiting Angels location in Michigan and ran the business as the CEO/President until her retirement.

Karen was a devout Christian her entire life. Karen loved being with her family. Her sons and grandchildren meant everything to Karen. In her free time Karen also enjoyed music, crafts, dancing, and the Detroit Tigers.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Burial will take place in Pleasanton Cemetery, Bear Lake, MI. Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth. Karen was one of the most congenial of the class of '64! I remeber her that way. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.

I remember Karen well.  Great girl and classmate.

Her nursing career was one she and her family can be proud of.
