Johnny Muter
1957 - 2016

John A. Muter, 59, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. John was born January 18, 1957 in Saginaw to the late Allen L. and Yvonne (Welch) Muter. John retired from Delphi. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, taxidermy and his Harley. He had lots of friends and would help any of them at any time. He was known for his good sense of humor and his love for building things. He especially loved and cherished his grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife – Cheryl (Steward) Muter, 1 – Son Bret and 2 – Step-daughters, Tiffany Scott and Nicole Steward. He is also survived by 4 – Grandchildren, Alexis Steward, Alyssa Steward, Cody Johnson and Cayden Johnson. He is survived by 1 – Brother, Robert Muter and 2 – Sisters, Gloria Wenzlick and Jeanne Muter-Blasch. Also several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Deep River Township Hall, Sterling, Michigan. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL. John’s family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their excellent care.
