Lorraine Bailey (Vorce)
January 24, 1958 - August 27, 2024

Beloved wife, sister and friend passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Covenant Hospital.

Lorraine was born January 24, 1958 in San Francisco, California to Leon and Marilyn Harris Bailey. She married Robert M. Vorce on March 31, 1995. He survives her. Lorraine and Robert loved to travel especially in Michigan. Their favorite places were Grand Haven (they loved to watch the boats), Paradise, and Whitefish Point. They loved to stop at Amish stores, quilting stores, and auctions. They loved going to the many county fairs in Michigan. They enjoyed a trip to Vegas along with Lorraine’s Mother.

When Lorraine was younger, she visited Poland “the trip of a lifetime, a new adventure everyday”.

Lorraine loved to sew, knit and crochet. She loved taking photographs. She was an avid reader until she became visually impaired then enjoyed listening to audio books and to Coast to Coast. She always had a kitty at her side or on her lap.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Robert, her twin sister Lorene Baumia; brother Christopher; nephews Josh and Norm (Denise); niece Brenna; step-children Troy and Gloria; sister-in-laws Linda and Carol Vorce. Special friends Bea and Greg Culp.

She was predeceased in death by her parents and brother-in-law Dennis Baumia. Per Lorraine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life take place at a later date.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at HealthSource of Saginaw’s, Patriot Unit for the love and care they gave Lorraine. Memorials may be made out to The Society for the Blind of Michigan, or the activities department at HealthSource of Saginaw.
