Phillips , Mrs. Barbara L. Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center Harrison. Age 57 years. Daughter of Jean Fahnanstiel and the late William A. Fahnanstiel, Barbara was born October 19, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was married to Wayne P. Phillips on November 24, 2001. He survives her. Barbara was employed as a customer service representative for Ameritech for 30 years retiring in 2000. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Carrollton Athletic Association and the Pioneers. Barbara enjoyed traveling, knitting, fishing and especially her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband, Wayne; are two daughters, Carin and Chad Daly, Midland, Trisha Canole and her fiancée, Patrick O'Dell, Saginaw; two step-daughters, Cindy and David Engel, Fort Worth, TX, Cathy and Leo Mahoney, Saginaw; two step- sons, David and Debbie Phillips , Midland, Dennis and Debbie Phillips , Actworth, GA; eight grandchildren; her mother, Jean Fahnanstiel, Port Richey, FL; three sisters, Sue and Larry Navage, Hudson, FL, Shelley Fahnanstiel and her husband, Dave Rapson, Laramie, WY, Kathi and David Crocker, Midland; her goddaughter, Staci Crocker; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her brother, William A. Fahnanstiel II. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss, Saginaw. Pastor Michael Korte will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
