Joseph Anthony Greko,

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away June 4, 2024 at Serene Gardens Memory Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan at the age of 74. Son of the late Joseph J. and Mary L. (Galiardi) Greko, Joseph was born September 24, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was married to Brenda Coppinger and then Pamela Ashcraft. Joseph was employed at General Motors and retired in 2006 after 30 years. He was a past member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Joesph was an avid fan of U of M Football, Detroit Tigers, traveling, music and enjoyed racing his MGB.

Surviving to cherish his memory is one daughter, Christine Greko; one son, Joseph Greko and Bettina Burkholder; two step-daughters, Shannon and Ryan Foster, Kelly Ashcraft; three grandchildren, Elicia Burkholder, Joseph M. Greko and his fiancée Johanna Rueda, and Tessa R. Greko; one step-granddaughter, Aubriana Foster; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jo Wortley, Patricia  and Greg DeMaet; two brothers, John and Nancy Greko, Michael and Bonnie Greko; sister-in-law, Alice Greko; many nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by one brother, Peter Greko.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Auburn Heights Senior Care, Wellspring Assisted Living (Saginaw), Serene Gardens of Grand Blanc, Absolute Hospice, and A Hope for Wellness.

Honoring Mr. Greko’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Friends may visit at the funeral home, where the family will be present on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the “Alzheimer’s Association” or the “Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue.”
