LYNCH, TIMOTHY M. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the Cartwright Hospice Center following a lengthy illness. Age 64 years. The son of the late John J. Lynch Jr. and Ann Clare (Howley) Lynch, Tim was born August 14, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School in 1967. He then attended Eastern Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University. He earned his Juris Doctorate Degree at Cooley Law School in 1982. Tim was a practicing attorney in Saginaw for 32 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Saginaw County and the State of Michigan Bar Association and a previous member of the Defense Trial Council of Michigan and the Trial Insurance Lawyers. He was very involved with senior adult pro bono work with elder senior citizens, providing free legal advice at the Saginaw County Senior Citizen Center. Tim was very active with the Saginaw County Law Day Committee; sponsoring local high school students and preparing them for the law day mock trial. He was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time in Ft. Myers where he was a member of Bilge Water Yacht Club. Tim had a zest for life and always had a smile and encouraging word. He will be remembered for his generosity and his random acts of kindness. Surviving are his fiancee, Jill Seegmiller, Saginaw; one son, Michael Schmid, Glen Arbor; three brothers and their spouses, John Lynch III and his wife Anne, Farmington Hills; Terrance and Laura Lynch, Grosse Pointe Farms; David and Katherine Lynch, Farmington Hills; two nieces and two nephews, Elizabeth, Kevin, Brandon and Kristen; Jill's children, Matthew and Kelly Seegmiller and their son Ethan; Ryann and Dustin Scott and their children, Charles and Henry. Tim's family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the Cartwright Hospice Residence for their loving and compassionate care. Honoring Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John R. Johnson will officiate. Friends may call at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church where the family will be present on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw City Rescue Mission. Arrangements entrusted to The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N.
