Braun, Mrs. Judith A., Saginaw, Michigan Loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 19, 2017. Age 67 years. The daughter of the late Robert and Joann (Bruske) Miller, Judi was born November 28, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Timothy Braun, her loving husband of 46 years, on August 14, 1971. He survives her. Judi earned her Bachelor's Degree at Saginaw Valley State University and was active in education all of her life. Judi was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, where she taught Religious Education and also served in the hospitality ministry. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening and decorating her home during the holidays. Most of all, Judi loved spending time with her family and friends. Judi will be remembered for her dedication to family and generosity of spirit. She was always willing to help and care for others. Surviving with her husband Tim are two daughters and their spouses, Julie and Rob Kowalewski, East Grand Rapids; Jill and Todd Nyman, Midland; five grandchildren, Robby, Jenna, Will, Jacob and Jillian; two brothers, Mark (Lynn) Miller, Clarkston; Scott (Janet) Miller, Bay City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate with private interment in St. Andrew Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home. Friends may call at St. John Vianney Catholic Church where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service, led by Sister Janet Pewoski, CSJ, will take place 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the church.
