Ran a day care in my home for a number of years while my kids were little. Became a manager of Pizza King in Big Rapids, MI then a manager of KFC in Big Rapids, MI. Then to retirement and being a grandma for kids at school

We were 1 of 4 starting members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Big Rapids starting in 1977. (Pastor John Brenner was one of our first pastors.) I taught Sunday school for 25+ years now serving as a sub and helping with Vacation Bible school and ladies group.

On the Village of Stanwood Board as a trustee and president pro-tem for 30 years. Wrote a grant and ran a food booth to raise money for the Stanwood Buffalo Park of which I direct the building.
