I was blessed to meet Sharon Russell in late 1962. We were introduced when she spent a weekend with her friend and roommate Pat Schwede. Pat and her family attended Grace Lutheran in Tecumseh, MI where I also attended with my family. Sometime in early 1963 Sharon and I started dating. We were married in August, 1965 at Lola Park Lutheran Church in Redford Township, MI. We were married just over 45 years. She died peacefully at the home of her sister Diane, where we had moved so she could be close to her family. I have not yet been able to contact Pat Schwede Stephanie Grigsby, or Marg Westendorf to notify them.
