George Frederick Kane 54, of Lake Geneva, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatos, WI.  He was born in Burlington, WI on October 31, 1954 the sone of the late Jack and Elizabeth (Tess Kane).  He graduated from Salem Central High School with the class of 1972.  He had worked for 36 years as a mechanic in charge with the Union Pacific Railroad.  On November 10, 1973 in Lake Geneval, WI he was united in marriage to former Joyce Hizpeter.

In life he was an avid sportsmen, caring father, loving husband and trusted friend.  George is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce, 3 children; Lisa Kane of Milwaukee, WI; Pamela (Brad) Fierst) of Wauwatosa,  WI and Brian Kane of Lake Geneva, WI 2 brothers:  Steven (Debbie) Kane of Lily Lake, WI Richard Kane of California and 3 sisters Elaine (Pete) Thompson
