Mr. Jewell was . born Feb. 27,1955, at Fort Leonardwood, Mo., and grew up in Salina. He was a California resident for two years. He had worked for Harold's Clothing, a Restaurant at Salina. He was co owner of a catering service in New York City for 16 years. ,,,, Survivors include his parents, J V Delmar and Lillie Jewell of Salina; two brothers, Bruce and Gary, both of Salina; five sisters, Lorraine Jewell, Sharlene Tolson, Ve???? and Vanessa Jewell, all of Salina, and Trudy Fisher of Topeka. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church, Salina, the Rev. Paul ??bbins officiating. Memorials may be made to cancer research in lieu of flowers.
