Private family services for Randy Kitterman, 48, of Tulsa will be 2 pm, Thurs., Oct. 9, 2003, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, under direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service.
Randy died Sat., Oct. 4, at his home in Tulsa at the age of 48.
The son of Erven Jonathon "E.J." and Helen Catherine (Powers) Kitterman was born March 27, 1955, at Hoisington, KS. Randy was a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma Department of Funeral Service, 1976. He was a funeral director for 20 years. A change in careers led him into the technical/industrial field. Most recently he had completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration and completed the OSHA program as an authorized trainer/industry auditor. He was self-employed as a consultant. Randy had been active in various social and civic organizations. He servied several years on the American Red Cross Transplantation Committee, the Lions Club, and the Odd Fellows Eye Bank in Kansas City, MO. He was qualified in eye enucleation through the Kansas Embalmers Eye EnucleationAssociation. Randy was an outgoing, kind, generous person. He was always willing to stop and help someone in need. He loved animals, and enjoyed watching rodeos. He was thrilled to be a grandfather and would take Dylan for walks in the neighborhood.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie of the home; daughter, Heather Henson of Tulsa, grandson, Dylan; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Walker of Bartlesville, sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Padgett of Oklahoma City, brother-in-law, Rodney Walker and wife, Lisa and family of Round Rock, TX; and aunts, Lucille Swisher and family of Gypsum, KS, and Mary Ferguson and family of Colorado Springs, CO.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Shriners Crippled Children's Fund, or a charity of your choice in Randy's name.
