Karl Lynn Warhurst, 62 of Mayetta, Kansas formerly of Solomon passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis in Topeka. He was born November 4, 1955 in Newton, the son of Arthur and Freda (Heller) Warhurst. Karl grew up in the Salina/Solomon area, graduating from Salina Central High School in 1973. Karl was a graduate of Salina Vo-Tech in machine and fabrication. On June 28, 1979 he was united in marriage to Mary Halsey in Abilene. She preceded him in death October 18, 2017. He was part owner of Midwest Gutter for 38 years. 
Karl is survived by his daughter Barbara Warhurst and husband Derek Smith of Mayetta and adopted daughter Brandi Dale and husband Spencer Klein of Salina. Grandchildren; Shelby Lynn Warhurst –Smith and Raychel Klein. Three brothers, Frank (Rhonda) Warhurst of Salina; Robert (Donna) Warhurst of Oakley; William (Mary) Warhurst of Salina. He was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Mary and a brother, Jim Warhurst.
A Memorial Service for Karl will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 16, 2018 at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home of Solomon. Inurnment will follow at the Prairie Mound Cemetery in Solomon. The family suggests memorials be given to the Solomon United Methodist Church. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, PO Box 308, Solomon, Kansas 67480.
