Terry Vallier

The funeral for Terry Wayne Vallier, 19, 2423 Robin Road, will be at 2 pm Monday at the Geisendorf Rush Smith funeral home, the Rev. Robert G. Minshall officiating.  Mr. Vallier was killed Friday morning, September, 27, 1974, at Russell when the pickup truck in which he was riding left Interstate 70 and plunged to an intersecting highway below an overpass.

He was a grain inspector with Evans Grain Co.. Salina, and was enroute home from a job at Imperial. Neb.  Injured was Roger A. Will, 458 Maple,Salina. a fellow worker.

Mr. Vallier was born Feb. 8. 1955. at Council Bluffs, la., and had lived at Salina since 1967.Another funeral will be at 3 pm Tuesday at the Meyer funeral home,  Council Bluffs. IA.  Burial will be in the Walnut Hill cemetery at Council Bluffs.

Mr. Vallier was a member of the First Christian Church. Salina. He was a 1973 graduate of Salina South high school.

Besides his mother and step-father,Mr. and Mrs. Merrill "Scotty" Olney, 2423 Robin Road, surviving are his father, Robert Vallier, Council Bluffs; two sisters. Mrs. Ronnie Jones,  Winston Salem, N. C.,  and Mrs. Judy Evansline, Denver, Colo., and Verna and Beverly Olney. both of Red Oak.  lowa;  a stepbrother, Merrill "Corky" Olney, of the homo, and a grandmother, Mrs. Fern McConnick, Council Bluffs.

The family suggests memorials to the Evans Grain Co., boys' baseball programs.
