Philip J. Bryne, Jr. died Monday, January 23, 2012  in Colorado, Springs, Colorado.

He was a guitarist, composer, and song writer. He loved to cook and barbecue. Phil was a Salina South High School graduate and attended Marymount College.

 He is survived by two sisters, Rosemary Brooks, of Colorado Springs, and Denise (Ralph) Leal, of El Paso, Texas; a nephew, Adam; a niece, Lyndsi; and a great-nephew,Nikko Leal.

Phil's ashes were scattered at Pike's Peak, near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
