Upon graduating from AHS, I had two goals. First, I wanted to leave Salinas and never look back in making that decision. Second, I waned to be a porn star.
I found my niche in the Asian market. I mostly performed in Japan. For some reason Latino performers do well in the Japanese porn industry. I was was known as the "Mexican Momba" or el "Mero Mero". I won various adult awards in Japan such as the "Best Foreigner Sex Performer", "Best Latino Sex Performer", "Best Sex Scene, June 1992". However, I got tired of being stereotyped into the same character. I was always the "dangerous" Latin Lover type. Furthermore, the booze, drugs, endless amount of women became to much to handle.
I did manage to get out of Salinas via joining the U.S. Navy. It was a bitter sweet experience while I was in Navy. I got to travel all around the world. I saw and did so many things that I would have never done if I stayed in Salinas. I was stationed in Camp Pendleton. Ti Juana was like 40 minutes away and fun is written all over it. I lost count on how many crazy weekends/days I spent there. TJ was just a big hazy, intoxicating, body grouping, grinding experience.
As much fun as I had in the Navy, I got my first taste of how much fun college could be. On one of my trips down to Salas, I ran into Jesus Orozco and Gustavo Sanchez. At the time they to were down in Salas taking a summer break from USC. We got to talking and next thing I know I'm joining them in a weekend induced with debauchery at the USC campus. If I could party and maybe learn something while doing it, I was all for that.
As much as I enjoyed working and traveling in the Navy, I felt like I need to continue with my "education", something the Navy wasn't able to provide. After 4 years in the Navy, I left to continue on my quest. I came back to Salas and enrolled at Hartnell. Boy, was that an eye opener. This school thing was not all it was cracked to be. I was so behind in my academic skill that it felt like I was starting 9th grade again. Many times I wished I had stayed in the Navy, but it was for the best that I did decide to leave San Diego behind.
I earned my AA from Hartnell. Beside getting an AA, I also earned a BA in Behavior Science from (which I dont't use) from San Jose State University and a MA in Special Education from CSU-Dominguez Hills (which I don't use).
Some of my other accomplishment have been able to count to infinity three time, and I have climbed Mt. Everest barefooted twice. I just recently finished reading a very mind blowing book caledl "The Very Busy Spider".
Currently, I lead a peacefull life in Santa Clarita with my wife, Ana, and our son, Matthew. I'm just a regular dude with a regular life and a regular job.
