Altie was one of my best friends during my high school years. We lived 2 houses away from each other growing up..He was the brother I never had! He always made me laugh, had that smile that was contagious and he was one of the most honest and down to earth friends I ever met. We shared a lot of great memories that I will cherish forever. Until we see each other again... Love you Altie

Altie and I hated each other in 8th grade!!!Then we got stuck at church camp together and ended up with a crush on one another!!! After that it was just like Vivian said, how could you not love the guy. It was devastating to hear when he died. He was loved by so many people and with his funny nature he was able to bring lots of joy into peoples lives.

Altie and I grew up together form Atlantic Little League to the Steinbeck Tigers and of course school. I was deeply saddened to hear about his unfortunate death and even more about his daughter. Altie I wasn't around for your last years, but I will never forget the friendship that we shared over the years. The lord reunited you with your hija for a reason so I know that you and her are smiling down on us from heaven. I will see you again!

LOVE YOU BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Sobaranes Elementary School was still open we used to play at the school which was located right behind his hose. There was quite a few of us elementary kids running around in the neighborhood and just being kids. We'd ride our bikes to El Dorado Park, play at the playground, and act crazy. We had fun. We attended the same junior high and high school. I met his sister kelly in junior high school and she's still my Facebook friend. I remember hearing the sad news when he died. Childhood memories never go away and he will always be remembered.
