Robert Joseph Poterala

December 24, 1942 – October 16, 2015

Robert J. Poterala, 72, of Greenville, SC died Saturday. Born in Hackensack, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph Franklin and Laura Menier Porterala. He was an engineering graduate of Clemson University. Robert was founder and Chairman of Mascoe Systems. Surviving are his wife, Freddie Grant Poterala; a son Joe (Shay) of Simpsonville; a brother, Jay Stephen Poterala; and three grandchildren, Allie, Sam and Paige Poterala. He was predeceased by a brother, Dennis George Poterala. Robert and Freddie recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Services will be 11 am Tuesday in Graceland East Mausolem.
