Gordon Fry

Gordon Gibbs Fry passed away on August 14, 2015 after suffering a stroke.
He graduated from East High School in 1954 and went on to graduate from the University of Utah in 1958. He married Elaine Anderson 1962. He retired as Vice President of Petro-Lewis Securities Corporation in Denver, Colorado. He and Elaine returned to Salt Lake City in 1990 where Gordon rejoined his college fraternity brothers of Sigma Nu enjoying fishing, golfing and card-playing. 
His parents, Lester W. and Margaret Gibbs Fry precede him in death. Gordon is survived by his wife, Elaine of Salt Lake City; children Eric Fry and wife Evelyn of Plano, Texas, Paul Fry and wife Katy of Edmond, Oklahoma; and Melissa Eddy and husband Steve of Prairie Village, Kansas; and Valerie Horsnall and husband Robert; of London, England , and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: David Fry of Double Oak, Texas, Douglas Fry of Salt Lake City and sister Margaret Newman of Sandy.
A survivor of Type 1 Diabetes for 57 years, Gordon made a thoughtful and generous donation of his body to further Diabetic Research at the University
